Fax responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) will NOT be accepted. RFP responses may be delivered by hand, courier or mail. All RFP responses must be signed by an authorized representative of the supplier and received on or before the closing date and time, at the location indicated in the RFP, or the response will be rejected.
Responses to Request for Quotes (RFQs) may be delivered by hand, courier, mail or fax. Responses, other than fax responses, must have the RFQ number and closing date clearly marked on a sealed envelope. Procurement Services takes reasonable measures to maintain confidentiality with fax responses. However, fax responses are not received in a sealed envelope, therefore suppliers should be aware that fax responses by their nature have a higher risk of not being kept confidential.
All RFQ responses must:
- Be signed by an authorized representative of the supplier acknowledging acceptance of the solicitation's terms and conditions
- Be received, and in the case of fax responses, be printed, on or before the closing date and time, and at the location indicated in the solicitation
or the response will be rejected.
Opening of Responses
Responses are opened publicly at 2:00 p.m. Alberta Time on the closing date and at the location specified in the solicitation.
